POSITION: Substitute Paraeducator
SCHOOL: Districtwide
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Assist students with classroom assignments under the direction of the teacher.
- Support students individually or in small groups to help them stay engaged.
- Monitor students in various school settings, including classrooms, hallways, lunchrooms, playgrounds, and buses.
- Assist students with special needs in daily activities.
- Help manage student behavior through reinforcement strategies and redirection.
- Communicate observations of student progress or challenges to appropriate schol personnel.
- Adhere to school policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
- Demonstrate professionalism and flexibility in various assignments.
- Follow directions from teachers and school administrators.
