POSITION:  ADAPTIVE PHYSICAL EDUCATION (Sessions)

 

SCHOOL:  High School 

 

GENERAL DUTIES:

• Provide adapted physical education instruction to students with disabilities based on individual needs and IEP goals.
• Implement strategies and activities to develop motor skills and physical fitness to support participation in physical education.
• Collaborate with related service providers, teachers, and other members of the educational team.
• Conduct Adapted Physical Education (APE) evaluations and assessments.
• Develop, implement, and monitor APE goals and objectives.
• Maintain required documentation and progress reporting.
• Participate in Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings.

 

SALARY: Prorated 1/7 (as per the NFEA contract) equivalent to the number of sessions and minutes

 

SESSIONS PER YEAR: 20 x 30-minute sessions

And 20 X 30 minutes sessions
